Master 3 internship

Application form for the Master 3 internal internship (clinical training) in 2026-2027.

An information session for students wishing to participate in mobility programs as part of their final-year clinical placements was held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in lecture hall A303 (Sart-Tilman).

This meeting covered several topics, including the destinations offered, the steps to be taken (application and appointment), details about the case log and Log Book, a portfolio that students compile throughout their master's program, as well as the various scholarships available and important dates.

Only students who have completed the entire Master's 1 program in one year in 2024-2025, and who have no remaining bachelor's credits, may submit their application!

For students who do not meet the criteria, an exemption may be granted on an exceptional basis by the committee, based on a supporting file including:

A cover letter presenting your project;
An explanatory letter indicating the reasons why you did not succeed in one year.

Exemption applications must be sent by email to erasmus.fmv@uliege.be no later than February 20, 2026, except for Saint-Hyacinthe, where the deadline was December 3, 2025.

Steps to follow to apply for the internal Master 3 internship (except Saint-Hyacinthe):

Step 1

Contact the host faculty of your choice to request a program.
To help you establish contact with the host faculty, you can provide them with a description of our expectations:

Step 2

Submit your application by email to erasmus.fmv@uliege.be by the following dates:

First period: by noon on March 13, 2026.
2nd period: applications must be submitted by September 13, 2026 (except for Maisons-Alfort, Nantes, Toulouse, Lyon, and Ghent, which require a complete application in March for Q1 and Q2).

The application includes:

Host faculty: contact details for the faculty (including the clinical training supervisor) + agreement in principle (i.e., proof that they accept you)
Training program offered by the host faculty (please complete this document: FR / ANG)
CV
Cover letter stating the semester and the option chosen.

Various information regarding your application for certain faculties:

The faculties of Ghent, Maisons-Alfort, Nantes, and Toulouse have asked the Faculty of Liège to select students.
Applications must therefore be submitted by Friday, March 13, 2026, at noon, whether for Q1 or Q2, to the email address erasmus.fmv@uliege.be. Your application should not include the program.

Ghent: in English - 2 students regardless of the quadri and species (more difficult in ruminants/pigs) (updated on 01/28/25) - Program
Maisons-Alfort: 2 students per semester (all sectors combined) (updated on 01/23/25):
- NAC sector - 6th year: 1 student per semester
- Pet sector (6th year): 2 students per semester
- Production animals sector (6th year): 1 student per semester (to be confirmed)
- Equine sector (6th year): 2 students per semester

No on-site accommodation available at this time, but Airbnb-type rental addresses are available.

Not available to French students

Nantes: 2 places ideally in production animals: 1 in the first semester (September to January) - 1 in the second semester (February to June) (updated on 10/03/25). Not available to French student
Toulouse: 1 student per semester and per clinic (companion animals and cattle) (updated on 01/22/25). Not available to French student
Saint Hyacinthe : a specific procedure is put in place (see internships)une procédure particulière est mise en place
Lyon : 2 students per semester (September to December) and (February to April) over a period of 13 to 15/16 weeks. (updated on 02/10/25). Not available to French student
Regarding accommodation in Lyon, there are four options depending on availability:

All applications for Q1 and Q2 must be submitted by March 13, 2026, at noon!

Rotation weeks in medical imaging, autopsies, and foodstuffs must be presented in Liège!

The grade received in the host faculty's clinic is for informational purposes only; grading is as specified in the Liège clinic's educational commitment. For Nantes, Toulouse, and Maisons-Alfort, the terminology used in this program may be confusing. We emphasize that the concept of a study stay is understood as an internship for the University of Liège and will be considered as such in your curriculum!

PLEASE NOTE: the grade from the online skills test will be used.

The International Mobility Committee will approve your program or ask you to make changes.
