While continuing to develop livestock production, the seven units of the Department of veterinary management of Animal Resources (Nutrition, Quantitative and Molecular Genetics, Biostatistics, Ecology, Ethology and Animal Welfare and Socio-Economics) have over the years extended their work to (exotic) pets, sport animals and human health.
