he objective of the training is to provide the student with the knowledge, the know-how and the pesonal skills in the field of health and animal welfare, without forgetting the animal productions and the veterinary public health. The training is spread over 6 academic years (first and second cycle) and entitles to a diploma of general veterinary doctor. Different specializations are organized in the framework of complementary trainings whose duration varies according to the discipline (1 to 5 years).

The faculty is also very active in the field of scientific research and organizes a doctoral training leading to the doctoral diploma in veterinary sciences (third cycle).

The faculty hosts a university veterinary clinic (CVU) able to treat in the best conditions both pets and production animals. To do this, it employs more than 50 specialists, organizes a 24-hour emergency guard and emergency system and offers, among other things, state-of-the-art hospitalization, intensive care and imaging services.
